Two groups of Year 10 pupils successfully completed their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, walking a distance of 26 miles over two days between Shoreham and Westerham.

The walk was long and challenging, but certainly a huge achievement.

"Despite the difficulties of the year, the group coped well with arduous conditions for their expedition. Driving rain made for a challenging first day's walking followed by setting up tents and cooking a meal, all in the wet. The girls remained cheerful and were rewarded with more benevolent conditions on the second day. The assessors were impressed by the girls' resilience and we hope many of them will consider moving onto silver next year. The girls were, as ever, supported throughout by an excellent team of staff."
