Last month, Bromley High School pupils took to the slopes at the English Schools Ski Association (ESSKIA) Regional Qualifiers, held at Chatham Ski Slope. The event brought together talented skiers from across the region, including competitors from Eltham College, Babington House, Surbiton High and Benenden.

The Bromley High School team performed brilliantly, with all our skiers successfully completing both runs of the challenging slalom course. Jessica delivered an exceptional performance, finishing as the 3rd fastest girl overall and 2nd in her age category. Alice placed 20th in her category, while India-Rose  achieved an impressive 5th place in the Year 5 & 6 group. The individual results were outstanding and a testament to the girls’ skill, focus, and determination on the slopes.

The results from this event will also contribute to the ESSKIA squad selection for the prestigious Alpine Training Camps in Norway, taking place in February and April 2026 — an exciting prospect for our talented young skiers.

It was a fantastic day of competition and sporting excellence — well done to all who took part!
