Bromley High School has received the Wellbeing Award for Schools, recognising that mental health and wellbeing sits at the heart of school life.
Developed by Optimus Education in partnership with the National Children’s Bureau, the Wellbeing Award for Schools provides formal recognition that the school has met very high standards of provision for emotional wellbeing and mental health. The Wellbeing Award for Schools was launched in 2017, and now over 1,000 schools are enrolled on the award, benefitting the lives of thousands of pupils, families and staff across the UK.
At Bromley High School, we believe that the pastoral care of each individual in the school is of greatest importance, and we provide an outstanding supportive and caring pastoral system. Our ethos fosters social responsibility and spiritual values: we encourage every girl to promote the happiness and well-being of fellow pupils. By working in partnership with parents, support staff and other professionals, we promote and safeguard the health, welfare and safety of the girls in our care.
Thank you to all staff who have worked so hard to help the school achieve this prestigious award.
