Last week, our Senior School pupils alongside talented performers from Langley Boys School took to the stage to bring Victor Hugo’s Les Misérables to life. The show was a fantastic celebration of talent, hard work and teamwork, transforming the stage with this epic story of injustice, heroism and love.

One of the many highlights of the evening was the debut of our Senior Orchestra, who, for the first time, had the opportunity to perform in a full-scale show.

“All pupils absolutely smashed it, bringing depth and richness to the music that elevated the entire production.”Mrs Daniel, Director of Music

The solo performances were outstanding, with each cast member delivering their role with emotion and precision. Their voices resonated beautifully with the audience, leaving a lasting impact. Beyond the technical brilliance, the energy from the cast was contagious; their enthusiasm and passion brought the story to life and filled the room with joy.

The performance was delivered to a packed audience, including a special group of Bromley High School alumnae from the Class of 2002 (pictured), who had themselves performed on the very stage in a previous production of Les Misérables. The reunion created a poignant and memorable experience for past and present.

“The presence of our alumnae is a testament about the enduring connection they maintain with Bromley High. Their continued engagement is invaluable, demonstrating the strong sense of community that defines our school. They are a constant source of inspiration to our current students, and their support reinforces the importance of the arts in shaping well-rounded individuals.”

Mrs Codling, Headmistress

The concert not only demonstrated the hard work and dedication of everyone involved but also offered a wonderful evening of entertainment, touching the hearts of all who attended. It was a true celebration of talent, teamwork, and the power of live performance. A big congratulations to all involved – your efforts were truly appreciated by everyone who experienced it!
