Our Music department hosted the Music Festival on the final day of the Spring term, a yearly extravaganza showcasing musical talent and skill with a lineup of over 200 performances by students spanning all age brackets.
Alongside solo performances, we also had Composition classes and the Ensemble Class, which was a favourite of the week. Our groups did not disappoint, and the atmosphere was buzzing with excitement as we heard a diverse range of music from rock to classical trios. Each pupil demonstrated technical skill, dedication, confidence, and a passion for their music that made the week truly incredible.
The winners of the Senior School categories were invited to compete for the prestigious Bromley High School Musician of the Year trophy. The competition was held in front of the entire Senior School. All the performers and audience made this an incredibly memorable end of term, demonstrating how amazing our school community is in stepping up under pressure and supporting their peers.
We are delighted to announce that Year 13 pupil Amelie is our Bromley High School Musician of the Year 2024.
