On Thursday 29th January, Bromley High School proudly hosted the Southern Trust Rally, welcoming seven GDST schools from across the Southern Region for a vibrant day of sport, creativity and collaboration. The event showcased hockey, netball and an inclusive Dance Experience, creating a positive and energetic atmosphere across the school grounds.

Bromley High School’s under 12 netballers represented the school with both an A and B team. For many, it was their first tournament experience, and they rose to the occasion with enthusiasm and determination. Their teamwork, resilience and willingness to embrace the challenge made it an excellent learning opportunity and a proud moment for the school.

The under 11 hockey team delivered a standout set of performances across six highly competitive fixtures. With four impressive wins, two narrow defeats and an outstanding tally of 14 goals, the girls secured a well-deserved 3rd-place finish. Their disciplined pressing, confident 1v1 skills, quick transitions and superb off-the-ball movement were evident in every match, reflecting both their hard work and their strong team spirit.

Alongside the sporting competitions, pupils also enjoyed a Dance workshop led by Natasha Fenn – Performer, Dancer & Actor, and proud Bromley High School alumna from the Class of 2017. Natasha delivered an energetic session that encouraged creativity, expression and confidence. Her professionalism and passion provided pupils with a unique opportunity to learn from an industry performer, making the session a memorable highlight of the day.
