As part of their studies, Year 8 pupils took part in workshops led by the Actors of Dionysus on Ancient Greek Drama.
This workshop connected directly to their curriculum, linking both to the stories of the characters we study and to our work on Ancient Greek gods and mythology.
Pupils engaged in a range of interactive activities that helped them understand how a play would have been staged in Ancient Greece and what the practicalities of such a performance might have looked like. The workshops were engaging and informative, offering pupils a valuable insight into ancient theatrical traditions.
