Every fortnight, we will be showcasing pupils’ art and photography work.
Year 12 photographers are exploring darkroom and digital techniques in their workshop module. They have produced some beautiful portraiture and abstract experiments.
Year 10 pupils have been working on self-portraits. They are large A2 drawings (pencil added to give a sense of scale) and you can probably recognise them through their skilled use of pencil. Some of these are work in process, others are finished.
Year 9 pupils are questioning who gets to be memorialised and why. They are making personal ceramic monuments celebrating the life of someone they feel deserves a memorial. Below are some of their research pages.
