Every fortnight, we will be showcasing pupils’ art and photography work.
This fortnight, our Art Scholars delivered a taster session with Year 6 pupils. Year 12 art student Min led the session on spray painted tote bags and was a real teaching professional showing them techniques and helping with ideas. The Year 6 pupils had loads of fun as you can see from these photos.
Year 8 pupils are currently exploring the theme ‘Edge-lands’ which examines areas where nature and the man-made meet. They have completed some carefully detailed dip-pen and ink drawings and some large expressive charcoal drawings. Shoes added for scale!
Year 13 Art student Elissa is exploring ideas around social distancing, skin as a membrane between self and other and the materiality of the body.
