Art of the Fortnight

Every fortnight, we will be showcasing pupils’ art and photography work.

Sofia’s large scale paintings are about finding tranquillity in water and have beautifully brush-marks and layering of colour.

Grace’s striking photographs are family portraits cropped and exaggerated to explore ideas around repetition, heritage and resemblances.

Year 7 have been making lively and experimental pieces in response to their theme ‘Swarm’. Their final pieces have been collagraph prints made from found materials and ceramic insects. The ceramic bugs are even cuter in real life!
