On Tuesday, French A level pupils were very excited to see Barbara Pravi, Eurovision 2021 French representative, live at the Cadogan Hall in Chelsea.
Barbara Pravi is a French singer, songwriter and actress from Paris. She composed the song ‘J’imagine’ by Valentina, which won the Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2020. Pravi also represented France in the Eurovision Song Contest 2021 with the song ‘Voilà’, securing 2nd place, the best result for France since 1991.
After a delicious dinner at Côte Brasserie, the pupils first enjoyed Georgia van Etten’s supporting act, who played her debut album ‘Deep Black Water’ and graced the audience with her energetic stage presence. However, Barbara was the star of the show; her collection of songs from multiple albums, and the hit Eurovision single ‘Voilà’ made the evening unforgettable!
