Earlier this week our Year 10 Geographers went to Reculver and Herne Bay to examine coastal features, processes and management techniques.

They learned fieldwork skills such as creating a beach profile, measuring the height of the cliff through use of trigonometry, pebble analysis and groyne height measurements to identify the direction of long shore drift.

The girls works fantastically all day, battling the cold winds and some rain and remaining in great spirits like true geographers!
