Our first Middle School Assembly took place last week with incredible energy, centering on a powerful theme: Words Matter.
Anchored in our Girls First philosophy, the assembly challenged our girls to discuss a key critical thinking question: How do our words truly carry weight? To unpack this, our Year 5, 6, 7 and 8 girls explored the essential dimensions of communication, examining how tone shapes our message, why timing dictates its impact and how turf defines the context in which our words are received.
By weaving our core Bromley High School values of Courage, Curiosity and Compassion directly into the debate, the collaborative session created an uplifting environment rooted in empowerment and sisterhood. Girls from Year 5 through to Year 8 shared their perspectives with their peers – making the session an inspiring and exciting start to our Middle School programme of events for the year ahead.
