Bromley High School is delighted to announce the appointment of Tom Beaumont as its new Director of Sport, with effect from September 2026.
Tom joined Bromley High School in February 2026 since then, he has become a valued member of the school community, demonstrating exceptional leadership, enthusiasm and commitment to delivering high-quality physical education and sport. From September 2026, Tom will take up the role of Director of Sport, leading the school’s PE and Sport Department and building on Bromley High School’s strong sporting tradition.
Prior to joining Bromley High School, Tom was Director of Academy & Education at Bromley Football Club, where he led the strategic development of the academy, overseeing both academic achievement and player development for more than 250 full-time scholars while supporting young people as they progressed into professional football.
Tom brings more than 18 years of experience across education and professional sport. He has led successful school sports programmes, managed specialist staff and developed high-performing sporting environments. An accomplished coach, he has guided teams to national success, including an Under-13 ESFA National Championship, and led Bromley Rugby Club’s Men’s 1st XV to victory in the RFU Senior Vase Final at Twickenham.
Tom brings a breadth of experience in sports leadership, coaching and education, together with a strong commitment to fostering inclusive sporting environments that encourage participation, confidence and sporting excellence.
Commenting on his appointment, Tom said:
“I am delighted to be appointed Director of Sport at Bromley High School from September. Having spent the past year teaching at the school, I have seen first-hand the enthusiasm, talent and potential of our pupils, and I am excited to build on the excellent work already taking place. I look forward to further developing opportunities for every girl to enjoy sport, embrace physical activity and achieve her personal best, whether through participation, competition or performance.”

We are excited about the vision, energy and expertise he will bring to this important role when he takes up the position in September 2026.”
