Year 7 Creative Classics Day
On Friday Year 7 pupils enjoyed exploring the fascinating cultures, history and arts of the ancient world through a variety of creative workshops and activities.
Pupils produced beautiful Roman mosaics, learned about the wonders of Alexandria, the Kush Pyramids, Meroë, the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, and the impressive Ziggurats of Mesopotamia.
Pupils also discovered the sounds of Mesopotamian music and enjoyed making their own versions. They enjoyed exploring how cultural arts helped shape some of the world’s earliest civilisations.
