This week, Year 1 pupils were delighted to be taught by our wonderful Year 5 students, who took on the role of teachers to deliver an engaging lesson all about space. They shared fascinating facts and helped the girls learn how to order the planets, making the session both fun and informative.
With the support and encouragement of their Year 5 peers, the Year 1 pupils then confidently presented what they had learned to the whole group. It was fantastic to see such courage and growing confidence in our youngest learners.
At Bromley High School, opportunities like this highlight the power of peer-to-peer learning, where older students develop leadership skills while younger pupils flourish in a supportive and inspiring environment. The session was a wonderful example of the strong sense of community we nurture every day.
