Last week, Mrs Dove took five enthusiastic Year 5 pupils with a keen interest in English to a GDST event at Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre. The visit offered a rich and varied programme, including a guided tour of the Globe, an introduction to its fascinating history, hands‑on drama workshops, a choreographed sword‑fighting demonstration, and a performance of Shakespeare’s The Winter’s Tale.
The girls were wonderful ambassadors for the school among our GDST sister schools and thoroughly enjoyed this memorable experience.
