We are delighted to introduce Maple, our adorable new pastoral pup and the latest (and fluffiest!) member of the school community.

At just three months old, Maple has already begun settling into school life, and she’s proving to be a very popular arrival. Her name was chosen with the help of the girls, making her a truly pupil‑approved addition to our pastoral team.

Maple is currently undertaking her training with Pets As Therapy (PAT), a national charity that works to improve health and wellbeing through the special bond between people and animals. With their expert guidance, Maple will learn how to be calm, gentle and well‑behaved, ensuring she can support pupils safely and confidently around the school.

Maple will play an important role in bringing comfort, calm and companionship to the school day – whether that’s offering a reassuring presence, supporting wellbeing initiatives, or simply providing an extra smile when it’s most needed.

We can’t wait to watch Maple grow and develop as part of our community, and we’re sure she’ll bring lots of joy, wagging tails and warm moments along the way.

Welcome to the school, Maple!
