Year 4 celebrated their geography topic, ‘Is India the Jewel of the East?’, by bringing a taste of India to the Junior School in a vibrant and engaging day of activities.

The girls explored a mixture of traditional and modern Indian dances, learning about rhythm, movement and cultural expression, before creating their own colourful rangoli patterns inspired by traditional designs.

They also enjoyed a hands-on culinary experience, making chapattis and assisting with the preparation of a range of Indian dishes in the Food Technology room. This immersive approach helped deepen their understanding of Indian culture and traditions.

A big thank you to the parents and grandparents who contributed to the success of this special day!
