All our Sixth Formers are exceptional role models and it is more difficult each year to select just a few of these impressive young women to act as Senior Prefects.
Jo – Head Girl
Studying: Economics, Politics & Business
Aspirations/Interests: I have always wanted to pursue opportunities that allow me to stay driven and ambitious while continually learning and developing new skills. I hope to study Politics and/or Business at university, as these subjects would open up a wide range of opportunities for my future. Alongside my academic ambitions, I am passionate about continuing my involvement in netball and coaching, as both have helped build my confidence and strengthened my communication and teamwork skills. As Head Girl, I aim to lead our team to reach its full potential by listening carefully to everyone’s ideas, encouraging collaboration, and turning those ideas into action that positively benefits the whole school community.

Aspirations/Interests: I have always believed that while talent is a starting point, it is dedicated hard work that delivers results. I have found that I am at my best when fuelled by high pressure and a deep commitment to my goals. This drive is what draws me toward a career in corporate law. I am fascinated by the intersection where legal frameworks meet global business strategy, particularly in the fast-paced world of international investment and large-scale corporations. As Deputy Head Girl, I intend to bring this same drive for excellence to our leadership team. My focus is on fostering a culture of high-level collaboration and clear communication, ensuring that we don’t just set goals, but work relentlessly to turn them into a reality that benefits every student in our community.

Studying: Physics, Chemistry & Maths
Aspirations/Interests: Ever since I was a child, I have wanted to help make a difference. I aim to study Chemical Engineering to pioneer sustainable fuel technologies at the pinnacle of motorsport. I am inspired by the sport’s transition towards a carbon-neutral future and want to be part of this technical revolution. Outside of my academic pursuits, I am a creative person – whether it be drawing ‘new concepts’ in my sketchbook, acting, or analysing the narrative arcs of my favourite shows, my involvement in the arts provides the creative spark to approach challenges with confidence. Proudly born and raised in Bangladesh, I am deeply connected to my culture and value the richness it brings to my perspective. As Deputy Head Girl, I am dedicated to celebrating our school’s diversity and ensuring that every student’s voice is heard and communicated with clarity and respect.

Francesca – Senior Prefect Head Girl Team
Studying: Biology, Chemistry, Maths & Music
Aspirations/Interests: After my studies, I hope to be successful in the field of science, contributing to advances in medicine and leading a high-performing team. My future endeavours involve combining my academic knowledge and musical skills to succeed in the career I pursue. Outside of school, I enjoy working as part of a team with others to learn, create, and perform a wide range of musical genres in small chamber groups and orchestras. Another one of my interests is reading autobiographies by motivational and pioneering women such as Michelle Obama and Katherine Johnson. These figures inspire me because they overcame societal stereotypes and shaped their own destinies. My aspiration as a Senior Prefect is to use the platforms that I have access to as a way to help others grow and develop into the best versions of themselves.

Studying: Art, Design Technology & Psychology
Aspirations/Interests: Ever since Reception, I remember having a passion for art and design, even if that meant balling up little pieces of green tissue paper to make the leaves on my painting of a tree. I’ve always loved being creative and making new things that no one has made before. I think that through Art GCSE I truly learnt that art isn’t always just something pretty to look at; it has meaning, messages, nuances, and is a form of expression. I am driven by my passion to make the world a better place, whether that is through small actions to help address the climate crisis or simply by being kind and considerate towards others. Outside of school, you may find me with my mum at our weekly yoga class or listening to my favourite podcasts as I wander around the Tate Modern. I look forward to giving back to the school and supporting the next generation of Bromley High girls towards their goals. I also look forward to what this role can teach me about leadership and making real and sustainable change.

Aspirations/Interests: I have always been particularly drawn to science and mathematics, as I enjoy problem-solving and understanding how things work. From a young age, I dreamed of becoming an inventor or scientist, fascinated by the possibility of discovery and the opportunity to investigate new ideas. Looking ahead, I hope to study Chemistry at university and pursue a career that allows me to continue exploring and applying my passion for science. Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, as well as staying active through running and horse riding, all of which help me chill out and de-stress. As a member of the Head Girl Team, I’d love to strengthen inter-year connections, ensuring the sense of school community prospers.

Studying: Maths, Further Maths, Physics & Computer Science
Aspirations/Interests: I am strongly motivated by opportunities that allow me to think creatively, support others, and contribute to strengthening the community around me. Studying Computer Science has strengthened my interest in AI, and its growing role in shaping the future has inspired me to study it at university. I am also drawn to Law, especially its focus on problem-solving and helping other people. Through various volunteering commitments, participating in multiple sports, and LAMDA, I have learnt the value of service, teamwork, and effective communication. As part of the Head Girl Team, I aim to continue to support you – whether it’s solving small challenges or fostering new ideas and turning them into reality.

Aspirations/Interests:
From a young age, I’ve known that whatever career I choose, I want it to involve helping people. That’s what draws me to Psychology – the chance to understand others and make a real difference in their lives. I’m also passionate about Computer Science, especially because it’s a field where girls are still underrepresented, and I care about challenging those expectations and pushing for greater gender equality. Outside of school, I love watching football, especially the women’s game. Seeing women play with so much strength and confidence inspires me to push for spaces where girls feel they truly belong. That’s the energy I want to bring to the Head Girl Team – empathy, determination, and a commitment to helping everyone feel included and encouraged to follow what inspires them.

Madison – Senior Prefect Head Girl Team
Studying: Drama, Psychology, Politics & Spanish
Aspirations/Interests: Ever since I was little, I’ve loved expressing myself, whether that was dancing around the living room or putting on performances for anyone who would watch. Starting dance at two and acting at six taught me early on how to be confident, committed, and part of a team. Those experiences have stayed with me and shaped the person I am today. In school, my subjects reflect the things I care about most: understanding people and exploring the world around me. They’ve helped me grow not just academically, but personally, giving me new ways to think, create, and connect with others. As a Senior Prefect, I want to bring all of that into my role. I aim to be someone who is approachable, supportive, and genuinely there for others. I hope to contribute to our school community by listening, encouraging, and helping to create an environment where everyone feels confident to be themselves and achieve their best.
