Last week, Year 6 netballers headed to Condover Hall in Shrewsbury for the annual GDST Netball Tournament.
Upon arrival, the girls were excited to try out the activities on offer, including abseiling, rock climbing, and the leap of faith. On Saturday, it was time to compete in the under 11 netball tournament. The pupils worked hard throughout the day and were thrilled to discover that both teams had progressed to the cup stages. That evening, after a team dinner, everyone enjoyed watching the live band and dancing with fellow GDST pupils.
On Sunday, the girls competed in their cup matches, giving their all in each game, with both teams finishing in the top eight. Bromley High School was one of only five GDST schools to have both teams reach the cup stage, making this achievement particularly impressive.
Congratulations to all! We are incredibly proud of how they represented Bromley High School, demonstrating outstanding teamwork, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the weekend.
