Gathered for our Open Mic Night, some of our scholars took to the stage to showcase their learning and research in the Global Perspectives group.

The energy in the room was electric as our scholars proved that you don’t need a long time to make a big impact. Each presenter had just 90 seconds to tackle complex global issues, and they did so with remarkable poise and creativity.

Our scholars moved away from the predictable, instead finding unique angles on sustainability and global responsibility. We were treated to a range of exciting and thought-provoking titles, including “Life as a Pencil” and “Around the World in One Day.”

Beyond just performing, this event served as a vital developmental milestone, as the scholars will now receive constructive feedback from staff mentors. This “real-world” experience is a cornerstone of the scholarship program at Bromley High, fostering the resilience and adaptability our girls will need in their future careers.

For our Year 5 and 6 audience members, the event offered a front-row seat to the opportunities available in Years 7 and 8. It was a powerful demonstration of what it means to be a scholar here: being curious, courageous, and compassionate by speaking up for a better world.

Well done to all the girls involved for their inspiring speeches and brilliant delivery!
