At the end of November, Senior pupils welcomed Ross Howitt for an engaging revision session tailored to both GCSE and A-level PE students, joined by peers from Chislehurst Girls School, Bullers Wood, Dartford Girls Grammar School, Darrick Wood, Coopers, The Ravensbourne School, Babington House, and Charles Darwin School, in a workshop focused on sharpening exam skills and deepening subject knowledge.
Ross, renowned author of GCSE and A level PE textbooks, drew on his experience as an educational consultant, CPD trainer, and Principal Examiner to deliver sessions tailored to the unique challenges of each qualification. In the morning, A-level students tackled advanced topics such as biomechanics, with practical demonstrations making complex theories easier to grasp. His interactive approach encouraged students to actively engage with the material and build confidence in challenging areas.
Later, GCSE pupils enjoyed a lively session packed with inventive memory techniques and exam-focused tips. The atmosphere throughout was one of collaboration and enthusiasm, and the schools were grateful for such an engaging and effective workshop.
