Federico is a Reader in Modern Spanish Studies & Head of Department. He obtained a BA degree in French and Spanish from Bristol University in 1986. He went on to complete an MA in Spanish at Leeds University the subsequent year and was awarded a PhD by the same institution in 1992. He was appointed to King’s in 1998. He is editor of A Companion to Federico García Lorca and author of Federico García Lorca: The Poetics of Self-Consciousness.
