Every fortnight, the school will showcase pupils’ art and photography work, highlighting their creativity and talent.
This fortnight, Year 7 pupils have been exploring the world of architecture and photography. In Art, they are creating intricate paper sculptures inspired by the work of contemporary architects, developing their understanding of structure, form, and design.
At the same time, they are learning the fundamentals of lighting in photography – experimenting with shadows, highlights, and angles to enhance the visual impact of their images.
These lessons are helping students to think like designers and photographers, encouraging them to see the connections between space, shape, and light while building confidence with new creative techniques.
