We are delighted to celebrate the recent achievements of several of our talented pupils across a range of disciplines – from gymnastics and football to biathle and hockey. Constance, Year 3 – Gold Medal in Second Biathle

Congratulations to Year 3 pupil Constance on her outstanding performance in her second Biathle competition. She won a gold medal and placed first in her age group. Constance is now waiting to hear if she has qualified for the next round – an exciting prospect following a fantastic achievement!

Harriet, Year 5 – South East Regional Under 10 Hockey Champion

Well done to Year 5 pupil Harriet, who played with her club Knole Park in the South East Regional under 10 Hockey Tournament. Her team were crowned champions and also earned a silver medal in the Kent Cup. A brilliant double success for Harriet and her team!

Betsy, Year 6 – Silver and Bronze at London Regional Gymnastics

Year 6 pupil Betsy had a fantastic weekend at the British Gymnastics London Regional Zinc Competition with her club, the Greenwich Royals. She competed in all four gymnastics disciplines, earning a silver medal on floor, bronze on beam, and placing 4th overall out of more than 30 gymnasts.

Holly, Year 8 – Treble-Winning Football Captain

Holly, a Year 8 pupil, captained Charlton under 13s to a historic treble: joint League Champions in Tandridge Boys Division 2, winners of the Girls’ London FA Cup, and now victors in the Tandridge Boys Gold Shield. She also scored a superb free kick and has been offered a place with Charlton under 14s for next season. Congratulations Holly!

Lucy, Year 8 – Silver at National Schools Biathlon Championships

Year 8 pupil Lucy represented Bromley High School at the National Schools Biathlon Championships held at Bath University. After an early 5am start, Lucy ran an impressive 800m in 2 minutes and 25 seconds, placing 3rd in her age group. In the swim, she pushed through a challenging heat and clocked a strong 32.2 seconds for 50m. With both events combined, Lucy secured a fantastic 2nd place overall. Her dedication, mindset, and resilience stood out throughout the competition – congratulations, Lucy!

Lydia, Year 9 – Bronze at National Acro Gymnastics Finals

Year 8 pupil Lydia competed in the Inter-Regional Acro Gymnastics Competition in Southampton after placing 2nd in the London region. Representing her region with pride, she secured a national bronze medal in her final competition of the year—an incredible way to celebrate a year of hard work and dedication.
