Senior pupils were captivated by a recent talk from Duncan Goodwin, a senior lecturer, and Sydney Olszewski, a third-year Landscape Architecture student from the University of Greenwich.
Their discussion illuminated the vital role of Landscape Architecture in shaping our world. The talk explored how the discipline combines design principles with climate change considerations to create restorative, playful spaces for communities. The session became particularly engaging as the girls applied these ideas to our very own Bromley High School grounds, brainstorming water management solutions like rills, permeable pathways, water features, and storage tanks.
