Earlier this term, Sixth Form pupils joined a group of Bishop Justice students to read, discuss and debate an article of their choice.

During the Minerva symposium, the article discussed whether it is important that politicians have integrity to do their job well.

Although the article tested the pupils’ reading skills, they all discovered new ideologies and expanded their knowledge. After reading, they split off into mixed schools’ groups and opened the conversation and discussed new viewpoints.

“I feel much more confident in my discussion skills and enjoyed hearing what all the other students had to say.” Grace, Year 12 pupils
