The ABC club offers parents secure and flexible wrap around care during term time for all Junior School girls. The club is managed by the school, with Mrs Jacqui Oxlade and her team taking day to day responsibility for the provision on offer each day.
Our aim is to provide the girls with a warm and friendly atmosphere where they can relax and chat with their friends and staff.
During Breakfast Club, which runs from 7.30am until the start of the school day, your daughter will be able to participate in a variety of activities, such as playing board games, construction games, quiet reading and simple arts and crafts.
Breakfast is served between 7.30-8.00am to ensure the girls have time to eat before class. The breakfast menu will usually include toast with spreads, cereal options, fruit and yoghurt. We will also provide a special treat day each week, with items such as bacon sandwiches, beans on toast, pancakes or pain au chocolat on the menu.
After School Club
The After School Club, which runs from the end of the school day until 6pm each day, is divided into three sessions to provide flexibility to parents and accommodate the many extra-curricular activities on offer after school.
Girls are able to attend any combination of these sessions. During the After School Club, a wide range of activities is on offer tailored to each year group, including arts and crafts, cooking, gardening and outdoor play. We also provide a quiet space for homework and reading. During session two a light tea is offered which includes options such as cheese on toast, sandwiches, crudités and dips, pitta bread and pasta.
“I have used the ABC Club extensively, both while I was working and now trying to juggle my toddler’s pre-school pickups. They have been unfailingly polite, kind and accommodating with my (occasional) last minute requests! My daughter has really enjoyed it, especially the different choices of food.”Parent
