GCSE Results 2011

At Bromley High School 41.5% of the GCSE entries were awarded the top A* grade.

Eighty per cent of all grades were A or A* and 97% were A*, A and B. We had the second highest value added scores of any GDST score nationally at GCSE level. 

Thirty-three girls scored 10 A or A* grades and three girls gained all A*s.

A Level Results 2011

 

In 2011, Jade Ainsworth, Maria Armitage, Elana Binysh, Sarah Burd, Sarah Caulfield, Suzie Hornsby, Stef King, Lucy McDonald, Tishani Patel, Hannah Patrick, Celia Richardson, Leanna Ruprai, Cara Tierney and Eve Tymon all scored only A and A* grades across their subjects.  They went on to their university places including Oxford, LSE, Exeter, Nottingham, Bristol, Birmingham and Manchester, to study subjects from Modern Languages to Medicine, Drama to Dentistry and Economics to Engineering.  The A*/A/B percentage was 76% across all subjects. The previous year, in the first year of the A* at A level, 32% of the Upper Sixth grades achieved this level, four times the national average.  Four girls undertook the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ), gaining 3 A* and 1 A grade.
