Our broad and balanced curriculum aims to develop every girl’s potential, combining the best of traditional teaching and learning systems with new technologies and cross- curricular skills. Although not obliged by law to do so, Trust schools adhere to the core requirements of the National Curriculum as a minimum whilst allowing scope for flexibility and originality. During the first three years (Lower School) girls are taught a wide range of subjects including the Core or English (Literature and Language), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and three foreign languages (including Latin). There is some setting in the core subjects. The creative arts include Music, Art (including Ceramics and Textiles), Drama , Physical Education, and Design Technology, the Humanities include Geography, History and Religious education and Information and Communication technology is taught both across the curriculum and discretely.
