The Business Studies Department at Bromley High School is one that you should become part of if you are:-

• interested in how companies make decisions
• interested in how a company markets its products
• interested in how a company makes a profit

The Department prides itself on being a dynamic and enthusiastic.  The subject is rightly perceived as being a very useful subject for combining with other "A" Levels so as to help develop a business "brain".

Our syllabus broadly comprises: Business Strategy, Marketing, Budgeting, Accounting and Financing, and Social and Governmental Factors.  Students will sit external exams throughout the course.

Students are offered the chance to participate in a biannual European study tour, which is organised in conjunction with the Economics groups.  We attend many conferences and revision classes, and have had guest speakers, such as the Chief Examiner for the course, giving talks in the school. 

We have an encouraging number of pupils who carry on with the subject at university.   Even those who do not pursue the subject further will still find the skills and knowledge acquired essential in later life.
