History is our interpretation of what has happened in the past and why. Through studying evidence from primary and secondary sources, artefacts, stories and myths from the past our girls can begin to learn about and understand the past and it's influence on life today. It also helps children to understand their place in society and to appreciate the place of others in society. Our history curriculum follows the National Curriculum programmes of study and uses the Q.C.A. history units for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. Where appropriate these units are linked to other areas of the curriculum and fieldwork.
